Liquid Metal Corrosion

The goal of the liquid metal corrosion project is to evaluate the corrosion resistance of candidate alloys for cladding and other structural application in lead alloy-cooled fast reactors (LFR). Studies to improve corrosion performance using surface implantation techniques are emphasized in the research program.
